The standard weekly charges for Owl Cottage are:
  • £690 per week for up to 2 adult guests
  • £890 per week for 3 or 4 adult guests.
For any booking starting during July and August or including the 31st December 2011 the charges are:                  
  • £790 per week for up to 2 adult guests
  • £990 per week for 3 or 4 adult guests.
An initial deposit normally of £100 is required to confirm a booking.  This should be paid within 10 days of reserving the cottage.  The balance, which is the remainder of the rent and any security deposit (see below) is due at least 10 weeks before the start of a booking.

A security deposit normally of £100 is required.  This security deposit is payable with the balance of the rent and will be returned (less any costs for damages/losses/breakages) within 2 weeks of the completion of the stay at the cottage.

In general there are no additional charges, booking fees or VAT and the above charges include the exclusive use of the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub as well as the provision of all linen and towels.  Normal costs of heating, washing, lighting and cooking are also included. 

If you have to cancel then, except for the intial deposit,  balances are refundable provided the cottage can be re-let for the full period.  The intial deposits are non-refundable should you cancel.  Security deposits are always refundable in the event of cancellation.  It is strongly recommended that you take out holiday insurance to cover the consequences of having to cancel the booking.

Short breaks may be booked for February or March.  A short break must be for a minimum of 3 nights and a minimum of 2 people and the charge is £55 per person per night.  The same conditions apply regarding deposits and payment of balances as for weekly bookings.
