Louth is a traditional Wolds market town with plenty of small but excellent shops, an open air market, a cattle market and few supermarkets. It has a unique atmosphere of friendliness and charm lost to many present day market towns. 
The impressive 130ft tower of Tattershall Castle stands proud in the flat landscape of central Lincolnshire. Its tale is one of remarkable splendour, decay and rebirth.
Tattershall also boasts a large parish church - Holy Trinity.  Inside can be found some memorial brasses, and also the grave of Tom Thumb!  His house is reputed to be the building on the roof of a house in the Market Place. 
Donna Nook National Nature Reserve is probably the best place within the U.K. for photographing grey seals. Each year as autumn rolls into winter hundreds of grey seals begin hauling themselves out onto Donna Nook's sandbanks to give birth to their pups.
