Owl Cottage is in the heart of rural Lincolnshire and just a short walk to the West you have Sotby Wood - 300 acres of mixed woodland managed by the Forestry Commission - and a similar distance to the East is Sotby Meadows Nature Reserve. Footpaths, bridleways and green lanes abound in the area.

For those wishing to explore further Lincoln is less than 30 minutes away by car.  The East Coast with its resorts and nature reserves is a similar distance. The Deep at Hull (the World's largest salt water submarium) is less than an hour's drive to the North. Horncastle with its antique shops is just 10 minutes away. For car and motor bike enthusiasts Cadwell Park Race Track is about 7 miles and if horse racing interests you then Market Rasen Race Course is a 15 minute car journey to the North West.

The cottage is easily accessed from the East Midlands and is situated near the hamlet of Sotby on the edge of the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds (an Area of Outstanding National Beauty), the countryside where Tennyson was born and raised

This luxurious two bedroom self-catering country cottage is a converted Victorian implement barn in Lincolnshire, England.  It is home to its own private heated indoor swimming pool which is for the sole use of guests.  The pool room also houses a sauna and a hot tub. For cooler days the underfloor heating and a log burning stove keep you comfortable. All these facilities, exclusive for the use of the resident guests,  are suitable for holidays at any time with all year round swimming and relaxation.  This private cottage in its rural location sleeps from 2 to 4 guests who must all be over 18.  The two bedrooms both have en-suite facilities and there is an additional wet room located off the swimming pool.
